What is culture? How do we learn from each other? We do that the best when people meet across borders and backgrounds.
Culture and international understanding
We know. We get a better understanding of ourselves and other cultures when we meet face to face. We gain respect and insight into the fact that “our method” is not necessarily the right one. This applies to Danes, Chinese, and any population in the world.
The populations of China and Asia in general have a different background, upbringing and world view than we have in Denmark. Our offer is an opportunity for educational travel, which provides insight into different values and cultures.
Culture in different ways
The resources are cultural and outdoor activities in the form of study travels, events, film and theater projects. The focal point is on the Hans Christian Andersen universe and Danish values. We include culture, tourism, and education by visiting attractions, museums, educational institutions, etc.
Hans Christian Andersen also went on educational journeys (grand tours) through Europe. He traveled for a total of seven years taking 30 educational journeys in Europe, all of which had a great influence on the poet’s authorship and world view.
Living attractions
When you look at it, the greatest attraction in Denmark is the Danish people. This is why we have developed a “Meet the Danes” program. What do we think, how do we live, what do we like, what do we eat, what are our ideas on upbringing, children, the work-life balance, and what do we think about the future?
